Having been an athlete in my youth, and continued on to be an avid sports fan, I felt right at home envisioning and directing these spots. The goal of any project is to grab the viewer's attention, and we tried to accomplish that through pure adrenaline. Making motion graphic titles interact with the live action added an extra element that brought the whole piece full circle.
We had to work fast and efficiently because we only had just a few hours of shooting time for the project. Every shot was pre-produced to keep us on a time table, but it was also imperative to adapt and improvise. Many of the transitions were created on the spot. The rush of filming this project gave my creative feeling an extra boost.
