Children's Miracle Network

Project Overview
Children's Miracle Network is a large supporter of pediatric cancer research. We followed a patient as she fights cancer with the Children's Research Institute by her side.
My Contributions
Being close to the family and in their environment lent itself to incredibly heart throbbing moments. Our patient is the star, and my job was to convey her feelings and struggles. I was responsible for filming and editing this patient story.
Working in a place where incredible stories happen all around, narrowing in on new themes is essential. Our patient's story followed a new path with research serving as the driving point to highlight the current treatment, and the future treatment for similar patients. One goal was to teach the viewer how Children's Health has so many branches that serve the health and well-being of children today, and for the future.

Being in the middle of this story as it unfolded served as a reminder to not take anything for granted, and to appreciate the wondrous work Children's Health carries out to save lives.
